Imagine the roar of an engine, the sleek lines of a classic Skyline, and the spirit of the bosozoku gang. Intrigued? You should be. And really, where would be be without an AI generated anime character to promote this?

From Bosozoku Bikers to Anime Covered cars

Picture this: it’s the 1970s, and a subculture is brewing in the bustling streets of Tokyo. Young rebels, the bosozoku, are customizing their bikes and cars in ways that defy convention, making them louder, faster, and undeniably cooler. These mods weren’t just about speed—they were about making a statement. And boy, did they ever.

Fast forward a bit, and you’ve got the legendary JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) cars that have become icons in their own right. The birth of drifting, the rise of street racing and the legendary anime series that covered them all. The Nissan Skyline, the Toyota Supra, the Mazda RX-7—names that make any car enthusiast’s heart race a little faster. These aren't just cars; they’re legends on wheels, each with its own story, much like the characters in our favorite anime. Our panel will explore these legendary vehicles and their appearances in anime, capturing the essence of Japanese car culture.

From Yokohama to Your Garage

Now, let's bring it home to We the North. You’re probably thinking, "This is cool and all, but how does it relate to me?" Well, you can bring a piece of this culture to Canada. Importing JDM cars to Canada is not just a dream—it can be a practical a reality. I've done it 3 times! And it’s not as complicated as you might think. At our panel, we’ll walk you through the process, step by step.

Looking forward to having you join us at the panel: Saturday May 24th at 1430 (2:30 pm) at Anime North in the Montreal (Delta) Hotel.
